Thank you, Vivi/Amy. Our little CdM book group was struggling to find a book we were all interested in reading. Susan suggested we share the PPB model with them. They agreed to give it a try…and they loved it. Conversations seem so much more engaging. So much more fun and thought-provoking. Yay!
Thank you, Amy, for such a captivating description of Paris Paperback. I have to credit Jonathan as co-founder. We met at a rooftop party on Bastille Day back in 2012 or 2013. As we introduced ourselves our conversation turned to books…and the rest is history, as you’ve so beautifully recounted. In fact, Jonathan formed a similar book-lovers’ group in Dubai, and now in Barcelona. My friend Susan and I have introduced the form to friends in Corona Del Mar, where I now live. We hope to hear the idea spreads far and wide. PS. So sorry I missed you when Vicky hosted at the end of April. It was wonderful to be back among Paris Paperback friends!
